This is one of the best restaurants in the Lincoln City/Newport, OR area. I'm not a huge Thai food fan, but I enjoy a number of the dishes at Thai Bay. The food always seems really fresh, and the seasonings are good. The view of the harbor is nice, and the atmosphere is relaxing. It's a great place to eat, and getting take-out is also a possibility.

This place is pretty good. We had 6 people and we ordered a bunch of random things to share. The food are delicious. The place is not busy. But It is by the water so you do get a view. Only thing I found at this restaurant is that its quite smoky. Not sure if the smoke is coming from the kitchen or its dust from outside. Its not expensive. And there are not a lot of restaurants near by. As well I think this is a family ran business. Ceiling can be a bit low if you are a tall person. Portion is ok. Because I am only reviewing base on its food, I give it 5 stars for its yumminess

I eat here every time I am at the coast. The service is always friendly and the food fresh and healthy. (The chicken used is white meat breast!) If you enjoy thai food you will not be disappointed. It has been consistently great for the 3 years I have been eating at Thai Bay.

Wow, what a nice surprise! Who would have thought Depoe Bay would have such a Thai gem. I'll admit, I wouldn't have tried this restaurant if it wasn't rated so high on Yelp. I ordered the "Fresh Rolls" as an appetizer. They were fresh, light, and delicious with the peanut sauce. For dinner I ordered the Lemongrass Chicken Pad Thai. When it came out I was shocked by the size of the meal. Not only was the portion huge, the dish was delicious. It could easily feed 2-3 people. My friend ordered the "Crying Tiger". It was a wonderful flavorful steak. It was seasoned perfectly, had fresh veggies, and rice. The steak was also very tender. This dish could also feed 2 people. The waitress was sweet, and though she was busy, she was very attentive. I wish I could take this restaurant back to Florida with me!

Considering you're not in a major city - this is pretty good Thai food! My expectations are low for Asian food in beach towns but this place is great. I ordered the larb (minced chicken salad) and massamun curry. I've obviously had better elsewhere but this is the best "beach town" Thai food I've ever had! Def appealed to my Asian food craving. So glad it's here!!!

Wow! The strongest endorsement I can give is that no one in my family wants to eat Thai food from anywhere else now. Thai Bay has ruined us for all other Thai restaurants. The food here is amazing. We were in Depoe Bay on vacation and went twice in two days. We almost even went back for dinner on one of the days we ate there for lunch. It's that good. We hoped it would be good based on the Yelp reviews, but we knew when we got the best egg rolls we've ever had as an appetizer that it was going to be awesome. Everything we ate was amazing. It's no secret that I have an affinity for small restaurants in strip malls with amazing food and nice people. Thai Bay counts. The servers were extraordinarily nice. We try to make it to Depoe Bay at least once a year. This will now be our first stop.

Hot D*MN! This place is a gem!! I love Thai food, and thought I'd had pretty decent Thai food, until I discovered this place, in Depot Bay, of all locations. Recommended by friends, easy to find off the 101. Stopped in for a late lunch on Sunday to find a charming casual interior, with views overlooking the harbor. Very clean bathrooms. The single cook/chef/server was humble and efficient. Simple menu of common Thai favorites (stir fries, noodles, curries, and more) with choice of protein. We chose a small Tom Kah soup with mixed seafood and Pad Kee Mao with scallops. Prepare for mouths to water upon delivery. The flavors of the soup were rich and amazing, and the seafood (2 large prawns/shrimp, lots of squid and some sliced scallop) so tender. The noodle dish was cooked in a way that was different than all other varieties of this dish I had enjoyed prior. The egg was not overcooked, and thus made for a creamy sauce over the noodles, reminiscent of a good carbonara. Excellent all around, with 4 plump scallops that were delicious. Don't pass up the amazing thai iced tea!! These two dishes made for great sharing among two adults.

Thai Bay was an accidental discovery for us. We had stopped for Mexican food and then saw this small place across the street. Turns out it had a wonderful view of the Depoe Bay harbor and a wonderful, friendly staff. But the best part was the food! We had the Green curry with Tofu (med. hot). It was perfectly spiced for our taste and fabulous. The best part of the dish was the generous abundance of sauce. We usually order Green curry when eating at Thai restaurants so we have a lot to compare to. This dish ranks up there with the best. And enough for lunch the next day! Highly recommend.
(5)Lynnie H.
Great food, plenty of variety. We had Musaman curry and pineapple fried rice. Thai iced tea was wonderful. Will be back. Looked like many meat and seafood choices, vegtables were fresh. All great.
(5)Jason B.
You know what, this place was perfect. We were a little chowdered out and ready for something else. The waiter/cook (and probably owner) was terrific. We walked in and were the only ones there...a little concerned but felt brave because of the excellent reviews. We picked out the best seat overlooking the harbor, and this alone was something special. Now the food...all good. Appetizer platter, kids had yakisoba and loved it. The curried fried rice an yellow cure were spot on! The cook even gave us a complimentary desert. How's that. I would actually give this place 6 stars....that's how good it felt to eat there. Like the guy really enjoyed cooking and serving people. Cheers to Thai Bay!
(5)Mr. C.
Easily the best Thai I've had on the coast. I had the catfish curry dish. Bursting with flavor... and HEAT! One guy did it all, greeted, waited, cooked, and bussed. Go here!
(5)Joona R.
This was the best Thai meal I've ever eaten. I literally signed up to Yelp just so I could write this review. As others have also noted, the restaurant is actually on the other side of the bridge. Don't let this stop you from visiting this awesome restaurant. We had the seafood pad hot basil and chicken pad thai. The chef (who runs all the roles by himself) is an artist, the food was full of flavors and simply spectacular. The hot seafood was really spicy and perhaps even better of the two. I can highly recommend this place and would certainly visit again.
(5)Lyric A.
Probably the best Thai food I've ever had. Visited Thai Bay for my fiance's birthday, and we were delighted with the feast we indulged ourselves in. We started with Tom Ka soup, which was really spectacular. We ate family style and shared Basil Fried Rice, Pad Thai, and Peanut Sauce Curry. All of the dishes were phenomenal. We were very pleased. The portion sizes were really good for the price, and allowed for us to take some home and enjoy cold the next day (the food was still delicious even cold). It was one of the best dine-out meals I think I've ever had.
(5)Mike R.
Good food and the view of the harbor is entertaining. We would recommend this establishment to all of our friends.
(5)Poster M.

Turned out to be a Treat Food: We hit Thai Bay for takeout because the hotel restaurant was closed on Monday night and we were tired. The potstickers were fantastic - crispy outside and yummy inside. Loved the pad thai -I'm pretty picky about pad thai, and this fit the bill. We had another veggie dish with rice that we also liked. Service: We didn't have a menu, and the person on the phone was very helpful and recommended favorites. Easy to pick up and go. Gave us plates, etc. which was very helpful.
(4)Mike A.
We love this restaurant for its great food. Unfortunately the service has declined. Last night the cook had to wait the tables and there was a full house. It was kind of crazy and the food wasn't as good as usual. They really need more servers.
(3)Mary S.
The best Thai food I've ever eaten and that includes Los Angeles and NYC. We've eaten there several times and tried different items and everything is so good we can't believe we are in Depoe Bay, Oregon.
(5)M N.
Absolutely delicious! Great service despite a party of 11 right before us. Amazing flavor, perfectly cooked scallops, too.
(5)Carrie P.
Thanks to Yelp we've found a great Thai place down on the coast. Would have never pulled in, if not for the great reviews. Our table of 4 tried the appetizer sampler, fried rice, curry, pad thai, and cashew chicken. They were all fantastic. The fried rice was amazing. Great peanut sauce. The cashew chicken was a great stir fry. I ordered it medium spice, and it was pretty mild, but the noodles we ordered medium and they had a nice kick to them! They also had a nice beer selection of Deschutes, Rusty Truck, and other local microbrews. Next time we are in Lincoln City, I am certain we will go back for lunch or dinner!
(5)Julie D.
Our two lunches were outstanding, the view of the bay an added treat and the owner/chef/waiter was impressive. We would not have stopped had it not been for Yelp. I recommend the Thai beer, Chang, if you do not like a hoppy beer. Our two lunches with beer came to $26 not counting tip! This is not a fancy restaurant. The service was not slow because we came at 2 PM. Be patient and enjoy the food.
(5)Ryan F.
I've been coming here for years. It use to be just a one person show and I must say I gave him 4 stars, it's strictly because the food is that good. The service is horrible and I say that not because I waited 2 hours for my food, but because he served 3 tables and a walk in order that came in after me. I highly suggest calling your order ahead of time and then driving to the restaurant. That way you don't have to wait 1.5-2 hours for dinner.
(4)Paul S.
The Google map has this place on the wrong side of the little boat basic. Anyway, the next time you drive by this place stop and go back to it. Best Thai food I have eaten in my life. Close to best if not the best Asian as well. Good beer and wine selection and excellent service. Only two people working there even at busy times. They do really well. We ate there twice in three days. Plan to return when we can. We ate the broccoli beef, chicken fried rice, spring rolls, Pad Thai and masamann.. We took remainders back to our motel and indulged ourselves in the middle of the night. Go and eat there. Given it a week after having eaten here to see if I feel the same and I do. If I could swing it I would drive over tonight for a big meal from this place. Fortunate for me that I do not live in Depoe Bay. I'd surely go broke eating out at Thai Bay. Hint - the Black Butte Porter is perfect for the food there.
(5)Cobalt Z.
Trepidation was our main obstacle to entering this Thai restaurant with a view overlooking the Depoe Bay marina and docks. I mean, really, what sane Thai cook would live in the fog banks of the northwest and attempt to make a living serving something other than fish and chips? Well, boy, are we glad they made that leap. Thai Bay was the best Thai food we have had in quite some time, located in a major city or tiny hamlet. Highlights: Pad Thai is always such a favorite and such a barometer for any Thai establishment. It's a "gateway food" for anyone that's not familiar with the cuisine and can't work up the courage for one of the pungent curries (and is afraid of ingredients like fish sauce and red chiles). Thai Bay's version really hits the mark- very well balanced flavors, noodles that were just a perfect consistency, and big pieces of grilled tofu. Not greasy at all; lately it seems so many places have made this dish with far too much oil. Not at Thai Bay; I'd fly back to Oregon for this. We also had their Panang curry, again a great example of this tasty dish. We asked for medium heat and they delivered; spicier than average but not at all too hot, the spice in no way overwhelmed the deep curry taste. The chicken was tender and the vegetables still had a good crunch. Between the two dishes (which we demolished), we were more than full. I'd recommend two dishes for three people, actually, as long as I'm not one of them, because I will literally steal this off your plate. Check your hesitation at the door- Depoe Bay is just as far from Thailand as any other place in North America, so why should this small town have an inferior version? Highly recommended.
(4)Patrick M.
Had dinner at Thai Bay and left happy and hurting; just couldn't stop eating. Tried the lemongrass chicken pad thai and loved it. Also had yellow curry; rich, pungent, delicious. The service was fast and friendly. The decor is simple, but it has a nice harbor view. We will definitely be back!
(4)Steve I.
One of the great things about Yelp is that it helps little places that you otherwise might not visit. This little Thai restaurant is the perfect example. We found it on Yelp and tracked it down. We were the only people there at 2pm when we arrived and sat next to the windows overlooking the Harbor. The service was quick and friendly and the menu had lots of selections. Both of our meals were great and our total check was only $20 including a beer. I highly recommend Thai Bay an will definitely go back if I am in the area.
(5)Jovanna P.
Love love love this place! What a find, I would not expect such good Thai food from the only Thai place in a small town. We wanted to get crab, but the fish market was pretty picked over by the time we got there. However, the wonderful smells from Thai Bay next store had us craving Thai food. Super friendly and fast, we had delicious local beer at the bar while they made our to go order. And man was it good! We had the appetizer sampler, which was a ton of food for the price. We had seafood medley that have super fresh mixed seafood, all expertly cooked (and huge prawns!). Pad Thai was the old standard it should be. This is a must if visiting Depoe Bay; by far the best food we had in the area all weekend. Just over the bridge from the main drag of Depoe Bay's sea wall.
(5)Molly L.
We never would have stopped at this unassuming little place if not for the excellent Yelp reviews which, once again, helped us find another hidden gem. Our faves were the yellow curry and a spicy basil stir fry with beef. The basil fried rice was also fantastic (with a smokey flavor). The cook was also the waiter this afternoon (past the lunch hour rush). so he did double duty. Presentation of the food was lovely. Ambience of the locale wasn't terrific, but it was pleasant to look out over the bay as we ate.
(5)Amy B.
We had a great meal here! My son doesn't care for spicy at all and we tried to suit their taste. We missed the mark but the owner's wife provided him with some steamed chicken at no charge! What great service. My yellow curry was absolutely wonderful! My husband's tofu dish was perfect! It may not look like much on the outside, but this is a great restaurant!
(5)kate d.
The best Thai on the coast. Try the pineapple curry extra spicy. It's amazing!
(5)Steven G.
Great food, friendly service, nice view of the quaint little Depoe Bay harbor.
(5)Tom S.
I have little to say about Thai Bay except WOW!! We've dined at dozens of Thai restaurants and this one tops them all. Better than the best in Seattle!
(5)Tupper M.
We stopped in based on other Yelp reviews. We shared the egg rolls with a very flavorful dipping sauce. Our Yellow Curry with beef and Pad Thai noodles with chicken were some of the best we've eaten. The portions were very generous. Although the decor is just ok, it's much better than you would expect judging from the exterior. But if that's not a problem, the food is great.
(4)Joshua W.
My wife and I love thai food. We were excited to see this come into Depoe Bay. The food is really good, but allow for some extra time as there is usually no more then two workers on at a time. I assure you the wait will be worth it. You will have a great view of the Depoe Bay harbor and will most likely enjoy your dinner watching seals swim about the harbor.
(4)Josh N.
Excellent service, we had a group of 8 and shared family style. The setting is quaint and has a great view of the harbor. Service was wonderful and the food was excellent! We ordered the yellow curry, some of the best I've ever had...the pad Thai (chicken and beef) was great! Rich flavor and good portions. The fried rice we got was also really good! My wife is a huge Asian food critic, but she loved it. Most of my family doesn't like curry but they all commented how great it was. WONDERFUL FOOD. Eat here if you want a great meal with fantastic service!
(5)LJ B.
We were in Depoe Bay for a quick overnight and looking for easy take-out and Thai food sounded good. This place has everything you would expect on a Thai food menu and we tried the standards -- Pad Thai and Fried Rice. I asked about vegetarian options and the super nice waitress assured me that there were many options so I went with a "safe" choice of fried rice. We didn't ask for spiciness, so it wasn't spicy, but next time I would definitely ask. But even without spice added these were some solid entrees. Good ingredients and very tasty. It was exactly what you want, but not always what you get when ordering Thai food. And Thai Bay has an inviting atmosphere with a view of the other side of the bay and good beers on tap, so we will definitely return next time we're in the area. And the waitress was so nice, even though we were getting takeout she invited us to sit at a table with a view and brought us water to drink while we waited. Would definitely recommend.
(5)Scott J.
I've been to Thai restaurants across the country and around the world. The Thai Bay, in terms of its flavorful food, is on a very short list at the top. The FOOD is definitely five stars. And if you like things spicy, their "spiciest" level is plenty spicy without being unbearable. I don't know what kind of Harry Potter magic goes on in that kitchen, but everything I've had here is excellent and is now my go-to Thai place on the OR coast. The restaurant itself is nothing to look at; it's pretty doggy and dingy (though offers a nice view of the harbor) and the service, while very friendly and accommodating, is a bit slow--partly because two people are doing it all. But it is well worth the wait. Just don't go if you're in a real hurry.
(4)Andrea G.
I went to Depoe Bay for the weekend, so we had to find dinner for Friday and Saturday nights. Well, we went to Thai Bay the first night and loved it so much, we went again on Saturday. The cook/owner and waitress were so sweet and friendly, and our food was absolutely amazing. The spicy basil dish (I don't remember the exact name) was incredible--I highly recommend it! They're very accommodating and I can tell they care about their customers: I was extremely hungry even before arriving and started to feel lightheaded. We told the waitress, and she rushed out a bowl of brown rice to me, which helped a lot. The place is easy to miss or pass over, but the inside is nicely decorated, and it is definitely worth finding. A beautiful view of the harbor too!
(5)Quentin C.
What a wonderful find, a tiny coastal town that has an excellent Thai restaurant. I'm from Chicago and the food from this restaurant rivals the best Thai food I have had there. Definitely two thumbs up.
(5)Andy W.
We got into Depoe Bay late on Saturday and could not get in at Tidal Raves. We love Thai food so we thought we would give it a try. Thai Bay was an absolute pleasant surprise. We love Pad Thai noodles and that is what we ordered. Their Pad Thai is probably some of the best I have eaten. The waitress (very sweet) said it was a secret recipe and I can see why she is tight lipped! I ordered mine medium spicy and they had a nice heat to them. We ordered Egg Rolls too and they were also very good. From our patio hot tub across the street at Channel House that night we smelled the curry cooking too. I love curry. It was a mouthwatering smell. Highly Recommended. Try it!
(5)Todd H.
My wife and I tried this place while on vacation on a referral by our hotel. I'm thinking right -- small town trying to keep in the small town business. Man was she spot on! I had no intention on eating Thai food while at the beach (I had visions of a seafood fest) but after eating here, we went back 3 more times in a five day period. Their Tom Yum soup is some of the best we've ever had and we live in area known for its Thai food (Seattle). I would wake up thinking about it -- that good. But then I ventured out into their red curry and pad kee mao and they are both delicious. In fact, their pad kee mao was some of the best I've also had. The noodles weren't as wide as some of their other places but the latent flavor burst remains with you and made me crave it more and more. In short, since we've returned home, my wife and I are trying out all the local restaurants to see if they match the Tom Yum and Pad Kee Mao and so far we have not found one that competes with taste. And the other surprise, it was a lot of food at a good price. In other words, the value was very good considering we are in a beach community loaded with vacationers. I wish it wasn't so far.. A side note, I like it spicy and hot. If you are into that and want it this way, Thai Bay won't disappoint either.
(5)Bob L.
We tried this place on a rainy Friday night, so we can't say much about the views, but the food was great. My wife had the basil rice with chicken and was raving about it. I tried what was essentially a flank steak with vegetables. It was good, although the flavor came from the chili sauce on the side. Like the other reviewers, we noticed that there seemed to be two workers, but service was efficient and friendly. We did not wait long for our food, and the price was very reasonable.
(5)Marc H.
I'm a fan! What a gem to find here on the Oregon coast. It's been awhile since I had good Thai food and let me tell you this is good. We wanted to try a few items so we had the pad Thai and the yellow curry. Both are outstanding dishes and I can't wait to try others on the menu. The fried rice was also excellent , something I was not expecting. The only downer was the egg rolls that were really greasy, but still had good flavor. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food.
(5)Oregon W.
My wife and I were staying at Whales Rendezvous and the owners told us about this great new Thai place in town. We got take out so we did not get to enjoy the view overlooking the harbor, but I scoped it out when I went in to pick up the food. Looks cute, not super swanky inside, but cozy, a little utilitarian, but super nice people! The Panang curry was PERFECT at a medium spicy level, probably top 10 (and I have eat literally a TON of it on 3 continents and HUNDREDS of places, including Thailand.) The Phad Thai was too bland, great texture, but could use some more kick (but might be perfect for someone who is not a big thai fan or maybe doesnt like spicy.) All in all a VERY solid place, reasonable price and WAY better than I expected to find in Depot Bay Oregon!!
(4)Nick B.
The seafood in the pad kee maw was really delicious as were the egg rolls. The green curry was also pretty good. The downsides were that the service really took a hit once it got busy and that the windows and bathrooms could have been a lot cleaner.
(3)Jennifer L.
Delicious! Got the yellow curry and my hubby got padtThai. Prices were reasonable and service was quick. Would definitely go there again -- best part was that it was right across the street from our hotel and you could look down over the marina while you ate.
(4)Jon B.
Fantastic food, very fair prices. Large dinner portions in the $10-12 range. The owner is also the chef; sometimes he has another person helping out front. Our group ordered chicken stir fry, flaming beef, chicken satay, pad thai, and a few other dishes. Everything was delicious and we went back for takeout a few days later. I *highly* recommend this place!
(5)Scot W.
Great food, great service. As far as I could tell, there was one man doing the cooking, waiting, greeting and busing of tables. Incredibly, the food was still great and the service attentive. I had the noodles with curry powder and scallops. It was fantastic, very spicy (per request; they ask how spicy you would like it). Around the table, there were two orders of massuman curry, one with squid and one with chicken, which were both delicious, an order of pad Thai with lemongrass chicken and peanut sauce (also quite delicious) and an order of chicken pad kee ew, which was quite spicy and very good. The portions were large (some leftovers for the next day's lunch) and the prices were very reasonable. The average entree was 10-11 dollars, I think. Definitely a good restaurant, whether eating in or carrying out.
(4)Kim J.
This was out first visit but it will not be out last! We will be back every time we come to the coast. The crab wantons are the best I've ever had. They stuff them full. I had the seafood soup and it was really yummy. Bill had the curry and really enjoyed it. If I could give this 10 stars I would. If you like Thai food even a teeny tiny bit this place is a must go to!
(5)Sarah H.
The single employee behind the bar was so incredibly nice that the food could have been horrible and we still would have given them five stars and come back. However, the food was good enough for high marks on its own. We ordered the tom kha which was mild and but flavorful. In addition we had the fresh rolls (yum) and being curry fans had the curry noodles, pineapple curry and the green curry. All three were different but very good. Did we mention that the man who was not only serving all the customers but cooking the wonderful food by himself was so nice? We asked if he could make us a couple of Thai ice teas to go and he made it happen. To top it off he made us some of the delicious drink to sip on while we waited (on the house!) so overall it was a great experience for us and we will be happily eating the leftovers tonight!
(5)Chris J.
The food was delicious. We ordered the yellow curry and pad thai, and both were top notch. This was some of the best Thai we have ever had. Prices were very reasonable ($10 for the yellow curry included the rice). Service was also great, and the view of the bay was very nice. We can't wait to come back
(5)Kushang P.
Excellent, authentic Thai food with friendly staff. The seafood salad, pad see ew, and the fried catfish (sp-1?) were awesome!
(5)Nicole L.
Really great Thai food on the Oregon coast we're very impressed. Fresh. Kid friendly. Thank you so much!
(5)Tracy H.
The pineapple curry is wonderful! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!
(5)Brent E.
We Yelped for good places in Depoe Bay and this came very highly recommended. We got seated immediately, got our waters immediately, and had my drink order on my table within 5 minutes of walking in. Redonkulous good service. One man show in the kitchen, so it took 15 for our appetizer and 25 for dinner, but totally worth it. Better than Ring of Fire in Eugene, Tarn Tip in Corvallis, Cha Ba Thai or Full Moon in Portland. Put it on your Thai restaurant bucket list if you are a conisuer. Seriously good as shit.
(5)Jodie P.
We stopped here on a road trip along the Oregon Coast. It was a one guy show the night we were there. Cook, waiter, cashier, owner? The food was delicious. My husband had a curry with scallops and I had the pad tai. The guy even suggested adding some peanut sauce to my pad tai. What a great suggestion. The portions were large and the prices were good. Sure hope he gets some help.
(4)Richard G.
Based on other reviews we tried Thai Bay. They were right, the food is very good and could stand on it's own in any city, big or small. Pineapple fried rice and Three Flavor Fish (Salmon dish) were top of my list for any Thai restaurant I've been to anywhere in the US. It is not fancy by any stretch - don't know if I would have even gone in based on outside looks alone. Service was a little slow because they were severely understaffed the night we were there. Our server was very nice though and was sure working hard. Next time I'm in Depoe Bay I'll be eating here again. (Map on Yelp shows Thai Bay just north of town - it is actually on the south side of town)
(4)Liz M.
Delicious Thai food right across the street from where we were staying! The prices are good, the food is amazing (and I'm quite picky about Thai food), and there is a great view of the harbor. Also, the very nice man who works there brought us amazing sticky rice with mango on the house for dessert!
(5)Evan C.
Loved Thai Bay. Great little location, nice folks running the place, and delicious Thai food. We've eaten a lot of Thai and weren't at all disappointed. Flavor is great and price is very reasonable.
(5)Katie V.
Very delicious! I'm not going to lie, I was a little nervous just because it's a little "hole in the wall" ish, but you can't go wrong. The combo appetizer platter was a hit for our family of 4 (2young children). The lemongrass chicken pad Thai was delicious, love the addition of flavors to regular pad Thai. Peanut curry with shrimp exploded with flavor and vegetables, very impressive. The kids loved the chicken fried rice. 8 thumbs up!
(5)Carolyn F.
...Thai food at its best! Second time here. Great value for the dollar!! We takeout and take back to our room for Thai and movie night Pad Thai could have been bumped up in flavor a little bit still good. The curry dishes are soooooooo delish. The combo appetizer dish is really good value for two people to share. For people eating in there is a nice view of Depoe Bay marina. Servers are very friendly and include all utensils for taking out if asked
(5)Bob F.
This is the best Thai Food ever!! Had Chicken curry,Fried rice and Catfish!!! All three were amazing!! If you like Thai food this is the place for you!!!
(5)Donna B.
Perfect. Great food, service and just what I wanted in Thai food. Warmth and flavor. Don't be deceived by the shabby outside. It's pure yumminess inside.
(5)Allison G.
Wow this place is a find! Blink and you will miss it. The curries were awesome we had both red and green and pad Thai chicken and the shrimp. The seafood was delicious and obviously fresh. We wanted to go back the following day but we headed it if town too early:( we went for lunch and the specials are a bargain! Don't miss this gem!

This was the best Thai food I have ever had. We had the Garlic tofu and the Hot Basil chicken, as well as the fresh rolls. All of the sauces were rich and flavorful, the ingredients were cooked perfectly, and the vegetables were extremely fresh. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was impeccable. We had some dietary substitutions and the waiter/chef didn't bat an eye. We could hear him chopping the ingredients for our meal right after we ordered and the food arrived quickly. The cherry on the pie of our perfect meal was our $21 check. So inexpensive for an appetizer and two meals! There is a great view of boats in the harbor too. We will be back for more! Thank you!

Wow. Let me repeat that. WOW. Once again I am bowled over by just how good some of these tiny cafes along the Coastal Highway really are. Outrageously disproportional to the full time population -- but exactly right considering how many people come here on bicycles, motor cycles, in campers, RVs, and surfboard topped vans to enjoy the beach, the whale watching, and the beautiful edge of North America. This little place would seat about 40 people max -- we were there on the back end of the lunch hour, and there were 5 table occupied -- by very happy people. If you're lucky enough to be seated by the windows -- they look straight down on the "World's Smallest Harbor" -- where 3 dozen fishing boats, charters, Coast Guard craft, and privately owned boats of various kinds enjoy the shelter of the docks there. There's a small boat ramp for people who just pop in for the day -- a fishing pier where a couple was happily fishing while we ate, and an unbelievable view of the this tiny village's hillside homes, small hotels, and Kodak photo-ops. Seabirds are constantly floating by on the air current -- and I can't wait to eat here at night and see the twinkly harbor lights and the sunset.... As good as all that is -- the food is actually better. We tried an appetizer sampler -- 2 each potstickers, shrimp rolls, egg rolls, pork fried wontons and salad rolls with sweet & sour and a peanuty-curry sauces for dipping. Every bite was dead on delicious. The table is set with the requisite soy and spice, salt and pepper. We each ordered one of their $8 lunch specials -- I had pad thai, husband had pad ew. His wide noodles smothered in bright green broccoli florets and chicken appeared to be perfect. My crystal clear rice noodles with green onion, egg, and chicken slathered in peanutty and salty goodness was amazing. Maybe the best pad thai ever. Beer and wine are available, but the table was set with what appeared to be ice water -- but turned out to be ice water flavored lightly with fresh lime. --Outrageously refreshing. No steps or stair -- and the whole place is wide-aisled enough to make it an easy destination for those in wheelchairs or on crutches. It's quiet, peaceful, and beautiful place to enjoy some really good food!
